Name: Colin Hoffman

Title: Branch Manager / Consumer Lender

Company: Citizens Bank Minnesota

How long have you been in business or in your current line of work?

I’ve been with Citizens Bank Minnesota for just over 6 years.

What inspired you to start this business or do this work? I’ve always been a numbers guy who enjoys budgeting and financial planning. During college, I interned with the bank and was fortunate to have some outstanding mentors who guided and inspired me to pursue this career.

What is your favorite product or service you provide?

I don’t have a single favorite product or service, but what I truly value is the small community atmosphere we provide. When you call or stop into our Lakeville branch, you’ll always speak with one of our local employees—someone who knows you and cares.

Do you have a special promotion or event coming up?

We just hosted one of our favorite annual events, our Oktoberfest celebration. It’s for existing clients and includes grilled brats, burgers, and local German Schell’s beer.

What do you love most about serving your customers?

I love seeing the joy on our customers’ faces when they achieve their financial goals—whether they’re saving for something big or accomplishing a long-term dream. It’s rewarding to build real relationships along the way.

What’s the most rewarding part of running your business or being a part of your organization?

The people. I’m lucky to work alongside an incredible team. The bond we’ve built is something truly special—you don’t find that just anywhere.

What is one fun or interesting fact about your business that people might not know?

Citizens Bank Minnesota is one of the oldest community banks in the state, chartered in 1876. Our Lakeville branch was established in 2004.

Where can people find more information about your business?

Website: www.Citizensmn.bank

If you were to describe your Chamber experience, what would it be and why?

My experience with the Chamber has been fun and energizing. It’s a passionate group of individuals who are genuinely excited about growing the Lakeville community and supporting local businesses. They focus not only on welcoming new members, but also on retaining and supporting existing ones with a variety of helpful resources.
