What Manner Of Persons??? 8/25/24
2 Peter 3:9-13 (KJV)
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
The QUESTION “that begs to be answered is”:

8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

For OVER fifty years I have watched/yearned/PRAYED to see our Lord and Savior split that Eastern sky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
It is 3:47 AM-IN THE MORNING!!! I am awake but THANK GOD I was able to take a short nap yesterday and do not have to get up early tomorrow/oops today.
THIS life is hard and crazy-AMEN!!??
I have seen and ENDURED much sadness and heartbreak over my 73 years of existence as I am positive you have also.
Our Lord Jesus told us of this coming:
Matthew 24:6-8 (KJV)
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
I/WE have lived through many Presidents and presidential elections, some wars, personal tragedies, times good and bad.......
Matthew 24:4-5 (KJV)
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
WE have endured false teachings and lying politicians-all claiming to be the sole proprietors of THE TRUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Which demands my question-IF the “fact checkers” REALLY knew the TRUTH why don't they start a NEW “news” channel and simply TELL THE TRUTH???????

One needs not to be a rocket scientist or “educated” or smart-SIMPLY BELIEVE!!!!
Romans 10:9-11 (KJV)
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

WE “professional” preachers are the ones who have made SALVATION difficult to BELIEVE and/or accept and understand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WE are not called or EXPECTED to CHANGE the world-only to PREACH to the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mark 16:15 (KJV)
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Only God can CHANGE the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
John 1:13 (KJV)
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
ARE YOU SAVED TODAY????????????????
