 Without a doubt the biggest news we must share with you is our recent merger with Sunstone Circuits. I know that many of you have heard about this already, but I thought I would take the opportunity to update you on how things are going. In short, everything is going fantastically.
Acclimating the Sunstone team with the ASC culture is going very well. In fact, I am amazed at how truly synergistic these two companies are as they become one. Combining Sunstone’s one step transactional PCB acquisitions with our more consultative expertise approach is allowing us to provide customers with a completely holistic solution. From concept to reality, from schematics to a complete life of the board, we feel that we can provide our customers with everything they need from a PCB supplier! Our Global Sourcing business is steadily growing. Our customers have realized the hundreds of thousands of dollars in cost-savings they can realize by taking advantage of our expertise in finding them Global Sources for not only PCBs and PCBA, but also other products including transformers, metal tags and badges, custom molding and so much more. This month we are launching our Custom Concierge Services where we will guide you in finding the right sources for just about anything you need. More to come on that in the near future.
And of course, we continue to update our state-of-the-art West Chicago facility with cutting edge equipment including a new Schmoll HDI 6 SpeedMaster drill and a hybrid UV and CO2 laser system from Excelllon.
