Thank You to Our Generous Supporters

We are so thankful to the organizations, foundations, groups and individuals who help us continue to serve the Georgetown community.

  • Volunteers from The Georgetown Helpers, a Neighbors Helping Neighbors group, are back at work completing the flooring in the NEST and finishing touches up in the admin area on the 2nd floor. We so appreciate their time and efforts.
  • Glen Fontenelle and the Awaken Church Round Rock have been so helpful with painting, building a cubicle, clearing out our storage room and several other tasks around the TGP offices & NEST location. We appreciate their service.

Mom's Rising Circle

Financial Literacy for Moms

Join Mom's Rising Circle on April 30 for the start of a new financial literacy program for momma's in want of a little assistance. This course is put on in partnership with Frost Bank and will go over budgeting and saving methods.

This program will continue until May 21, just before summer break.

Please RSVP via our EventBrite.

Events are hosted as part of the Bridges to Growth Mommie Support Network, overseen by facilitator Andrea Fallas. Mom's Rising Circle provides support groups that create a safe, non-judgmental space where mothers who may feel isolated and overwhelmed can share their experiences, receive guidance, and form lasting bonds with women who truly understand their challenges.

Questions about programming can be directed to Andrea at andrea@georgetownproject.org.

News from the NEST

What Time is It? Summertime (Almost)!

As we inch closer and closer to graduation and the start of summer, we are excited to announce a variety of summertime programs for our NESTlings.

Please see the attached flyer for dates and details.

Dinner will be provided during each event. If students need assistance in getting to the NEST, they are encouraged to reach out to Program Coordinator CB Feller at cb@georgetownproject.org or 512-973-8596.

Artists Among Us

Students succeeded at this year's Art Stroll, with 12 of their pieces being purchased.

Seven of our NESTlings dropped by the booth, which was hosted outside the Williamson County Art Guild building, while three of them helped CB man the booth.

Many thanks to Evie Walberg for making this year happen and helping us get set up.

This partnership wass especially meaningful as it celebrated not only the skills of our students, but also the Art Guild's 50th anniversary. Thank you to all for supporting the artistic endeavors of our students.
