We are only into the first week and I'm already feeling a little batty.
The best thing to do at this time is exactly what the Ministry of Health is asking. There is a fine line between Social Distancing and Isolation, it is important to not give up meeting together as some are in the habit of doing to encourage one another. Our staff are given a quiz to ensure they have a good understanding of COVID-19 and we hope they will be able to continue to help our vulnerable clients and not left to their own devices, to ensure they are safe throughout this journey, where ever it may go. However, Quarantine is quarantine.
It seems that a lot of people are not sure what to do if they aren't feeling, log on to the
Self Assessment Tool
If the result is affirmative then call your healthcare provider and give them your symptoms and your exposure. They will decide whether you need to be tested, but keep in mind that there is no treatment for COVID-19 and people who are mildly ill may be able to isolate and care for themselves at home.
If you are at higher risk for serious illness from COVID-19 contact your healthcare provider early, even if the conditions are mild.
Stay well and be nice to one another, and if you are one of those people who have all the toilet paper and hand sanitiser, please share.
While we have been forced to slow down and stop rushing from A to B and relax into a more naturally evolved pace, it may be wise to start a new hobby or learn something that we've wanted to do for a long time. Now I'm a junior senior I'm going to open my own favourite newslettter, from
Zoomer
at and an acceptable social distance.
Keep well,
