THE i9 SPORTS ® PARENTAL PLEDGE
"I, the parent or guardian of an i9 Sports team player, agree that the most important outcome of any game is for my child to have fun. My child needs my approval and support, regardless of what happens in the game.
I will refrain from the use of negative or derogatory language aimed at the Officials, the Coaches, my child, or other players. I will encourage my child and all others in the game and will let the coach be the coach. I will do my best to model the sportsmanship-like behavior I wish my child to adopt, and to support the coach in making this the best possible experience for my child."

Our league is focused on equal play, good sportsmanship and having fun!
-
You have signed up for a RECREATIONAL LEAGUE taught by VOLUNTEER COACHES.
- Coaches are given a different sportsmanship value each game day starting WEEK 2 of the season that will be integrated into the practice and game for the day. After each game, your coach will award a sportsmanship medal to a player(s) on the team that best displayed that value. Every player will receive a sportsmanship medal by the end of the season.
- If a practice or game day is cancelled due to poor weather, facility issues, poor field conditions, or any other reason, you will receive a cancellation email, the weather hotline (678-309-1909) will be updated, and the season will be pushed back one week. In the case that the season cannot be pushed back, a doubleheader will be scheduled to make up the cancelled games. We will make every effort to play any cancelled game.
- League staff on site will consist of a site manager or sport coordinator and other i9 Sports staff helpers who are there to support all participants, spectators and coaches. If you have any issues that need to be immediately addressed, please find the site manager before leaving so he or she can help resolve the problem. If an issue arises that needs attention by league administrators, please do not hesitate to email us with your concerns. We want your feedback!
INTERESTED IN COACHING?
If you would like to be more involved with your child's team, we would love to have you join the team as a coach!
- We offer many resources to make sure you are comfortable in the game day processes along with the practices and games themselves! Including practice plans, coaching guides, mock playbooks, a coaching app and a web page dedicated specifically to you!
- Additionally, we will be hosting our Coaches Clinic and have our coach meetings in the build up to opening day!

|
Coaching at i9 Sports and the majority of youth sports leagues across the nation is on a VOLUNTEER basis.
-
Parents of players on the team and other individuals who apply to coach in our league are background checked, take a coaching exam, and watch a mandatory coaching introduction video to be eligible. We also offer the opportunity to attend a preseason coaches meeting (when possible) but all details are always emailed to all of our coaches in advance.
- All teams are given a team number at the beginning of the season. Your team is given the opportunity to come up with any fun, silly or serious team name desired by the players and coaches. All team names must be appropriate and approved by the Program Director.
|
|
Your practice and game schedule for the regular season, along with venue information, will become available online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at your convenience starting one week from today before the start of the season.
- Game Schedules are accessible online at i9sports.com.
-
Please check your schedules every week to ensure you have the most up to date information for the next practice and game day.
- The venue is on a rental basis and all decisions regarding blackout dates, cancellations and location changes are directly influenced by the venue owner. Please understand that the schedule is subject to change and weekly changes may occur if required by the venue owner. However, this is not common.
