I arrived to Earth School (in Los Angeles) on August 9th, 1966.
Whew, what a wild and wondrous ride it's been these past 58 years!
I'm going to share something that may or may not resonate with you.
Many of us have been here before, playing a variety of different characters
-the villain, the hero, the victim, the bystander.
Perhaps we've played all the roles here in our attempts to learn and grow.
Of course like many of us, I forgot most of these lifetimes,
but certain things are familiar, some souls are instant connections,
there are too many Deja Vu's to count, and there are Synchronicities and
God-bumps galore. I believe it's a privilege to come to this particular school, but it's definitely not a place for the faint of heart!
This time I think I was very enthusiastic about coming back...
though there are times, especially lately, when I've thought,
'WTF was I thinking to come here now!?!?'
But even in the WTF times, I'm ALL IN this time around.
I have a passion for learning, growing and re-membering, and for helping!
My guess is in other lifetimes, I screwed around and didn't pay attention.
I was probably often insecure, lonely and afraid. I'm sure I kept quiet about harmful situations that I should've spoken up about. I bet I had lifetimes of hoarding my possessions, being ignorant and self-centered, and seeking power over others too. There were remnants of these low vibe behaviors in
my earlier life this time, and I've overstretched in some areas to make up
for missed growth opportunities, LOL.
It took a while for me to understand the structure, aim, and opportunities available in this unique school. I'm forever grateful to my Soul for bringing me to the University of Santa Monica (USM) in 1994, a soul-centered education I've stayed involved with ever since. USM helped me remember I am a Soul having a human experience, and that Earth is a school where we create and clear Karma, and learn lessons of Love, Compassion, Wisdom and more.
10 Keys I've learned to making the most of the Earth School experience:
1) Use everything for your learning, growth and upliftment.
2) Remember we are all connected, and follow the Golden Rule.
3) Take full responsibility for what you create, promote and allow.
4) Face, feel and heal your upsets so they don't become dis-ease.
5) Own projections and practice self-forgiveness for judgments.
6) Speak up and take action when you see/experience injustice.
7) Be honest, courageous, compassionate, generous and kind.
8) Seek to leave every person/place better than you found them/it.
9) Pray and converse with your Higher Self/Spirit Guides daily.
10) Have Faith, be patient and don't give up -endure to the end!
Whether you believe you chose to come here or not.
Whether you came in kicking and screaming, or singing and dancing.
Whether you think I've gone mad talking about this mumbo jumbo...
It's much more fun and interesting to hold a learning-orientation to life.
It also takes away debilitating thoughts of being a victim.
For me, there's huge freedom in that.
And Freedom is my Jam!
Infinite Love,
Your fellow school mate,
Teri Jo
