The 2022 session of the Indiana General Assembly began last week! Except, not really. The Legislature began its work just before Thanksgiving on a bill aimed at restricting employer vaccine mandates, for those employers that choose to do so. Aspire testified on this matter last fall and continues to engage with legislators.
 

In 2018 Indiana launched the Office of Work-Based Learning and Apprenticeship (OWBLA) to change mindsets around these programs and offer support to employers in implementing an apprenticeship program. There are more than 1,100 registered apprenticeship programs today in Indiana in areas such as advanced manufacturing, transportation and logistics, and health care.
