Baltimore City has several amazing green spaces, but none so impressive as the Masonville Cove Urban Wildlife Refuge Partnership, the first of its kind in the nation. This waterfront 50-acre oasis is home to more than 300 species of animals, including deer, foxes, coyotes and the first known nesting pair of bald eagles within Baltimore City. There are walking trails for birdwatching, a fishing pier and a beach for launching kayaks.
Nature Worx has been fortunate to partner with the Living Classrooms Foundation since 2021 to provide our programs at Masonville Cove. This fall, we are looking forward to several exciting initiatives at Masonville. All are free of charge!
