Live, Work, Thrive

Your Monthly Update

I'm excited to tell you about some of the people the Community Development Partnership team worked with this year. Their stories of creativity, commitment, and strength inspire us every day. And they're living here year-round and thriving thanks to our supportive community. Read more below!

Reflecting on all the CDP accomplished in 2023, I know it would not have been possible without YOUour donors and community partners. You are helping us to build a community where everyone can access what matters mosta safe, affordable home, a living wage, and a sustainable life. Thank you for helping us deliver the CDP’s mission and for making a difference.

There is still much work to do to create a socially equitable, economically prosperous, and sustainable Lower Cape where year-round residents are engaged in shaping their future. The CDP team's engagement with our community this yearbuilding relationships, providing training, sharing knowledge and information, promoting best practices, and collaborating to find solutions to our shared challengeshas set the stage for more significant impact in 2024. In the months ahead, the CDP’s strategies for advocacy, training, financing, and centering community well position us to:

  • Promote year-round resident voices in local decision-making.
  • Assist local homeowners in creating accessory dwelling units that provide rental housing that is affordable to year-round residents.
  • Support Lower Cape businesses in creating year-round jobs with family sustaining wages.

Your support is an investment in the people who make up our communityand the future and opportunities they'll help create. Thank you for helping us build a diverse year-round community of people who can afford to live, work, and thrive here.

My best wishes for a happy and healthy holiday season,
