Antoinette will be serving Native families and their children from offices in both El Dorado and Amador counties.

Elder Options and El Dorado Veterans Affairs Team up to Support Transportation!

Through a recent grant from the El Dorado Veterans’ Affairs Commission, the Elders Community Fund, and the El Dorado Community Foundation, veterans have an avenue to help with transportation to health-related appointments both within El Dorado County and to out-of-county veterans’ health facilities.

With the impact of the pandemic and some stores closed or partially open, more businesses are looking to bring their “shop” online. How do we protect ourselves and our companies against cyber criminals? We all know that we shouldn’t email our account information to someone claiming to be a Nigerian prince. We’ve heard the terms “spyware”, “ransomware”, “hacking”, “phishing”, etc. But, what do we need to know to avoid these things?

The Northern California Small Business Development Center (SBDC) program focuses on advising small business clients located in the NorCal SBDC network coverage area. Funded in part through a grant with the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development. Funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Earthquake Warning California is the country’s first publicly available, statewide warning system that could give California residents crucial seconds to take cover before you feel shaking. Managed by the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES), Earthquake Warning California uses ground motion sensors from across the state to detect earthquakes before humans can feel them and can notify Californians to “Drop, Cover and Hold On” in advance of an earthquake.
