We were proud to offer the extended version of the popular short film by local filmmakers Wayne Gray and Dale Schierholt, who spent time with now 101-year-old Virginia Oliver of Rockland, known as "The Lobster Lady."

Later in the year, this story was picked up by News Center Maine in July,The Boston Globe and CBS Morning News in August, and the AP this fall. We like to think we helped spread her much-deserved popularity.

Rounding out LCTV's 2021 top-viewed videos are sports, sports, and more sports: virtual Maine cheer leading competitions, and Medomak Valley and Lincoln Academy basketball games.

In collaboration with the CLC YMCA and LincolnHealth, we brought you a "Vaccines and You" series, featuring information from local experts and the experiences from our neighbors. As well as regular Covid-19 updates from Miles LincolnHealth.

Over the year in original programming, we shared 52 Wuzzup News Shows,

44 Chamber Chats featuring local businesses, 22 essential Community Conversations with host Marva Nesbit, and 31 "Between the Bookends" storytelling shows.

As part of our mandate to increase citizen access, we broadcast and archived 54 Select Board meetings among 149 total municipal meetings from all over Lincoln County.

We welcomed Bangor Savings Bank to our community and the Trolls at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, among 12 Talkin' Town Talks that brought you people and places you should know more about.

Our specials for the 2021 Damariscotta Pumpkinfest and the inaugural Wiscasset Schoonerfest were enjoyed online, we hope as much as in person.

Looking forward, we'll continue to bring you home winter basketball games from Medomak Valley & Lincoln Academy, municipal meetings, the shows you love and enjoy, and plenty of new specials.
