SO where do we get the most exposure to lectins? FOOD!!!
Here is a list of foods that contain high levels of lectins:
- Grains -- ever heard of "Gluten" yep it is a lectin, hence, inflammation!
- Beans -- heavy and some of the most toxic levels
- Nightshade veggies -- tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant and peppers
- Dairy -- ugh, unfortunately so
- Peanuts and Cashews
If anything try to moderate these food sources or do a 10 day cleanse and see how your body reacts.
