Help meet critical needs during this critical time
  • Give to YWCA's Relief Fund. Despite this pandemic we cannot put our work on pause. Domestic violence survivors still need our help. Families still need financial counseling and housing assistance. And honest conversations still need to happen so we can all understand and work to dismantle structural racial inequities exposed by COVID-19. Invest in the well-being of our communities.

How are you spending your days? Send us a note or a picture at Here’s what our shop volunteers have been up to over the past several weeks:
“I’ve been busy with my family of five all sheltering at home. Using scraps of fabric found in the house, I started sewing face masks. To keep sane, I use Zoom to exercise with my Pilates class and meet with my book group.”

-- Kelli , Shop Volunteer
“I’m fortunate to be working from home supporting Kellogg School of Management’s entrepreneurship courses. The Zoom technology I use for my job also enables me to ‘visit’ family members for events like a tea party hosted with my two daughters. I’m finding time to pursue needle felting, photography, and crafting greeting cards.”

-- Mary Jane , shop volunteer
