Jobs That Pay Well Require More Than Degrees: the Five Most In-Demand Competencies

A recent report from Georgetown University finds that these five competencies are the most in-demand across the labor market, and yield the highest economic rewards. The intensity with which workers use these competencies, along with their education level, can affect their earnings. Physical and coordination competencies? They ranked as less valuable in the labor market. Here are the top five.

The second half of the legislative session ramped up last week, with committees meeting in full swing and longer daily session calendars. Several bills receiving bipartisan support were sent to the Governor’s desk. The small business restart grant program received a funding boost, but another bill will reverse progress to make it easier for workers and customers to get to businesses.
