This is our fourth week of alternative instruction, and MTC is “Going Live” to answer your questions. Join us for MTC Live tomorrow, Tuesday April 14, at 5:00 p.m. on the Midlands Technical College Facebook page . Drew Newton from Academic and Career Advising and Muffy Allison from Counseling and Career Services will be streaming live to interact with you. Summer Registration
Summer registration is open now. Most courses will be delivered using the same alternative instruction that is currently in place. Visit the MTC Summer registration webpage for additional information, including details about the transitioning of on-ground classes. Our first Summer 2020 term begins Monday, May 18. By May 8, students need to complete advisement, register for classes, and pay tuition.

Financial Aid for Summer
Students who are enrolled in Spring 2020, or were enrolled in Fall 2019, should already have information regarding their summer financial aid eligibility. It was included in their initial award letter. New students will be awarded for Summer 2020 after submitting the 2019-2020 FAFSA. Students who have questions about their awards for Summer terms should either call and leave a message at 803.738.7792, or email [email protected]. Messages will be returned within 24 hours.

Scholarship applications open until May 1
Remember: the MTC Foundation scholarship application deadline has been extended to May 1. More than 100 scholarships for new and continuing students are available. When you complete a single online application , you are automatically matched to scholarships for which you may be eligible.

Financial Aid Priority Deadline
This Wednesday, April 15, is the priority deadline for 2020-2021 Financial Aid Applications. This will determine financial aid eligibility for the Fall 2020, Spring 2021, and Summer 2021 semesters. For step-by-step instructions, see our webpage How to Apply for Financial Aid.
