Ahh to drop into today.
To hold an attentive line of consciousness to a specific taste, texture, smell, sight, sound, emotion, or sensation to even one moment within a day...
When our senses attune to that which is within and around, we can become so engaged with life in real-time that we aren't thinking about life's past or future events. We stop thinking about one thing while doing another. Our mind gets to function in a single area of focus and in some ways, to rest; while our body receives the signal to exhale.
The present moment can feel different because we return to a state of clarity or ease, and we slowly restore the way that time moves throughout our day:
Present living doesn't rush.
