What the heck are those NEW numbers on your

Employer Dashboard?

If you’ve advertised a job on our website’s job board in the last few months, you may have noticed you can now see the number of views and the number of impressions for each job posting. Your private dashboard now tracks and displays how many times a job posting has been displayed on a device and how many times someone has clicked on the posting.

What is an Impression? This is the number of times the job posting “summary” appeared on a user’s device/screen. What is a view? This number demonstrates the number of times a user clicked to “open/display” your full job posting to read.

July

Avg. Impressions: 1,975     Cost per Impression: FREE

  • The audience (users) of our job board are predominately local residents
  • Job postings from before mid-June 2025 likely display 0 Impressions and 0 Views as the counter was not available at that time.

Get started today by setting up your user profile and add your job posting to our website’s job board. You can also edit or relist your job posting on our job board 24/7. Have a question? Need a bit of help? Call 250 248 3205 and ask for Lorrie or send a note to get started!

WorkBC Wage Subsidy Program

Training a new employee on-the-job can be challenging and costly. The WorkBC wage subsidy program reimburses eligible employers 30-50% of training wages - and it's easy to apply for. Employers are matched with a WorkBC client (all unemployed BC residents can register to be a WorkBC client) who would benefit from developing the occupational skills required.

Since 2019, the program has supported 440+ unemployed local residents to secure on-the-job training placements at over 120 local workplaces. Wage Subsidy participants have received on-the-job training as:

Early Childhood Educator

B.C. Employer Training Grant program

The B.C. Employer Training Grant provides funding to small, medium and large enterprises to support skills training for their workforces, including prospective new hires. The Employer Training Grant helps employers pay for training, which in turn helps employees experience increased job security or move into better jobs. Employers can apply as often as they need and receive 80 per cent of the cost of training up to $10,000 per employee, with a maximum annual amount per employer of $300,000.

Canada Summer Job Wage Subsidy Program

The Canada Summer Jobs wage subsidy application portal will be open from NOV 19 to Dec 19 2025 for summer 2026. Not for profit organizations, the public sector and small businesses (50 or fewer full time employees) can apply for a wage subsidy to support summer work experience for youth (age15-30).
