was established to provide financial support for Baptist students enrolled in theological education in preparation for leadership and ministry. Click

. We are looking for students who meet the following criteria:
- Active participants in the CBFNC community.
- Incoming full-time students at an accredited seminary or divinity school.
- Show promise for ministry as demonstrated by church or community activity.

Religious Liberty Essay
Scholarship Contest
|
High school juniors and seniors can win up to $2,000 for college in the Baptist Joint Committee’s Religious Liberty Essay Scholarship Contest. The 2019 topic asks students to evaluate and share their opinion on the “Johnson Amendment,” which is a provision in the tax code allowing nonprofits to be political but not partisan. Essays must be between 800-1,200 words and postmarked by March 8, 2019. For the full writing prompt and additional details, visit
