HELPING CHILDREN COPE WITH GRIEF - Mitchell David Center for Hope & Healing -

Where’s Lucky?  for children 4 to 8 years old who have recently lost a pet March 22, 2022 7:00 – 8:00 pm via Zoom Through a story and craft, children will learn that although our pets are no longer with us, our hearts can forever be connected to them. Each family who participates will receive a copy of the book, The Invisible Leash by Patricia Karst. Program, craft supplies, and book are free. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Parental supervision is encouraged. Register Here Heartstrings: Our Ties to the Ones We Love  for children 6 to 10 years old who have lost a loved one March 30, 2022 7:00 – 8:00 pm via Zoom The Invisible String by Patrice Karst is a heartwarming story that reassures children of the unbreakable connections between loved ones, even when they can't be together.   After we read the story, children will make a string bracelet to remind them of their forever connection to their loved one.
