Church family, are we living into our vision? Are we striving to meet our mission? If not, why not? and how can we reach the goals we have set for ourselves both personally and collectively?
Mission Statement
To love and serve God and our neighbor, by striving to meet the needs of God's people.
Vision Statement
To be a Christian community of faith where love lives, love works, to spread the good news of God's grace and mercy.

What is the Trinity, and what does it mean to you?
The Trinity is the central Christian belief that God is one being who exists eternally as three distinct persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. Each person is fully God, yet they are not three separate gods.
| | |
The Core Pillars
The doctrine relies on three distinct facts that must be held in balance:
- There is only one God. Christianity is strictly monotheistic.
- The Father, Son, and Spirit are distinct persons. The Father is not the Son, the Son is not the Spirit, and the Spirit is not the Father.
- Each person is fully God. The Father is God, Jesus is God, and the Holy Spirit is God.

Come, Holy Spirit, Fall Fresh on Us!
In the Episcopal Church, Pentecost Sunday (May 24, 2026) marks the descent of the Holy Spirit on the disciples and the birth of the Church. Key points include the liturgical color red (symbolizing the "tongues of fire"), the celebration of sacraments, and the transition into "Ordinary Time"
| | |
Key Points of Pentecost in the Episcopal Church:
-
Date: May 24, 2026.
-
Meaning: Commemorates the Holy Spirit descending upon the apostles, transforming fear into bold proclamation and uniting diverse people. It is considered the birthday of the Christian Church.
-
Liturgical Color: Red is worn by the clergy and used for altar hangings to symbolize the flames of fire. Parishes often encourage the congregation to wear red as well.
-
Sacraments: It is a traditional day for Holy Baptism and the affirming/welcoming of those being Confirmed or Received into the church.
