Church family, are we living into our vision? Are we striving to meet our mission? If not, why not? and how can we reach the goals we have set for ourselves both personally and collectively?

Mission Statement

To love and serve God and our neighbor, by striving to meet the needs of God's people.

Vision Statement

To be a Christian community of faith where love lives, love works, to spread the good news of God's grace and mercy.

Our history is too much to be contained in one month! Check out the PDF by clicking on the link below. There is a wealth of information for you to expand your knowledge.

Our Morning Prayer Gospel reading explains why the sheep will be separated from the goats.

AI says Matthew 25:31-46, often referred to as the Parable of the Sheep and the Goats, depicts Jesus's judgment of all nations, separating the righteous (sheep) from the unrighteous (goats). The key takeaway is that actions of kindness and compassion towards "the least of these," seen as representing those in need, are considered acts done for Jesus himself. Conversely, neglecting these needs is seen as neglecting Jesus.

Happy 26th Anniversary to Lem & Gail Williams

We appreciate you sharing your time and gifts with us on Sunday. The Coffee Hour refreshments were excellent! May God grant you many more years to celebrate.

Message from the desk of Rev. Sharon...

Altar Flowers Guild

I'm calling everyone interested in joining the Altar Flower Guild. This is a much-needed ministry for our parish. It is also an excellent opportunity to challenge your skills and make something beautiful for all to appreciate. If you are interested, see Lois Jackson.

Request for Coffee Hour Supplies

We need coffee, tea, and condiments for our coffee hour. Sugar, creamers, Splenda etc. We would appreciate whatever you can contribute.

Please continue to support our meal ministry, the Hunger Network, and our neighbors in the Central community who may need a hot meal. Our funds allocated will be paused effective August 1, 2025, due to government budget cuts.

Food Bank Security

Dear Episcopal advocates for food security in Ohio,

The Ohio House is expected to pass its version of the next state budget by Friday, April 11. Hearings are beginning in the Ohio Senate. The budget process is moving fast: the two houses’ versions must be reconciled before June 30. The House budget slashes vital human services even as federal cuts are already devastating Ohio’s safety net.  As people of faith, we are called to bear witness. Make the consequences of these cuts vivid and inescapable to your legislators and to your community.

Dwelling with the Holy Spirit

Living with the Holy Spirit means experiencing the continuous presence and power of God within us, transforming our lives and enabling us to live more fully following His will. This indwelling spirit provides guidance, strength, and comfort, strengthening our faith and leading us to a deeper relationship with God.

The Holy Spirit as Resident:

  • The Holy Spirit is not just a temporary visitor, but a resident within our hearts, constantly present and available to us.

Transformation and Growth:

  • The Holy Spirit empowers us to grow spiritually, conform us to the image of Christ, and produce the fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, etc.).

Guidance and Comfort:

  • The Spirit guides us through life's challenges, provides comfort in times of sorrow, and strengthens our faith during moments of desolation.

Community and Fellowship:

  • The Spirit unites us with other believers and draws us into communion with the Trinity, fostering a sense of belonging and purpose.

Power for Service:

  • The Spirit empowers us to serve others, share the gospel, and fulfill our God-given purpose.

A Pastoral Team has been put in place, consisting of Will Seifert-Kessel, Brenda Shepherd, Jon Benjamin and Anita Pruitt. You may contact any member of the team for pastoral support.

The need for volunteers is ongoing as we no longer employ a sexton. Your service in cleaning is always appreciated especially in the kitchen and bathroom areas. Many thanks to all who consistently help out in all areas.
