Family and Friends Unity Day
We are excited to announce a special event celebrating the strength and love found within our church family – Family and Friends Sunday! This joyous occasion will take place on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the 9:30 AM service. This is the Day of Pentecost, and parishioners are encouraged to wear something red.
The theme for Family and Friends Sunday is “Growing Together in the Lord: Building Bridges and Celebrating Connections.” We hope that you will invite your family and friends to the 9:30 service as we come together to worship, pray, and celebrate.
We are honored to have Mr. Richard Starr, City Councilman for Ward 5, as our guest speaker for Family and Friends Sunday. Councilman Starr’s insights and experiences will undoubtedly inspire us all.
If you are unable to attend, you can still participate by donating using the QR code below:

Food Bank Security
Dear Episcopal advocates for food security in Ohio,
The Ohio House is expected to pass its version of the next state budget by Friday, April 11. Hearings are beginning in the Ohio Senate. The budget process is moving fast: the two houses’ versions must be reconciled before June 30. The House budget slashes vital human services even as federal cuts are already devastating Ohio’s safety net. As people of faith, we are called to bear witness. Make the consequences of these cuts vivid and inescapable to your legislators and to your community.

Leaving the Easter Season
Leaving Easter and entering Pentecost marks a transition from the Risen Christ's presence to the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit. Pentecost is a time of newness, a "great beginning" of the Church, and a reminder that the Holy Spirit continues to work in the world and in our lives, calling us to a deeper relationship with God.
As we leave Easter, I suggest three things to consider doing.
- Focus on the Resurrection:
- Remember Easter celebrates the resurrection of Jesus, signifying the triumph of life over death and the promise of new life in Christ.
- Remember Easter as a time of joy and hope:
- Easter is a season of joy and hope, as we reflect on the miracle of God's love and power.
- As we transition to Pentecost, remember:
- Easter marks the end of the seven-week Easter season, which prepares us for the coming of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost.
