Church family, are we living into our vision? Are we striving to meet our mission? If not, why not? and how can we reach the goals we have set for ourselves both personally and collectively?

Mission Statement

To love and serve God and our neighbor, by striving to meet the needs of God's people.

Vision Statement

To be a Christian community of faith where love lives, love works, to spread the good news of God's grace and mercy.

A Note of Thanks

Thank you to Jerome Rubin, Lois Jackson, and Yvonne Gates for creating and installing our new sign on the property across the street. In the past, the city incorrectly charged us for lawn maintenance. We pray our new sign will deter unwarranted charges in the future.

Lenten Silent Retreat

Thanks to everyone who participated in making our Lenten Retreat successful. It was indeed an enriching experience. We look forward to similar retreats throughout the year. Stay tuned for more information.

Time to order Easter Flowers

It’s time to order Easter flowers. Please see Ms. Pearl Culbreath to make your donation to purchase Easter flowers for the chancel and sanctuary. Donations should be in by April 16th.

Purposeful Lenten Actions

Lent is a time for self-reflection, deepening our connection to God, and discovering ways to live more purposefully. Maya Angelou's words can guide us during this season. Let us focus on living in the present while looking forward to the future.

A Pastoral Team has been put in place, consisting of Will Seifert-Kessel, Brenda Shepherd, Jon Benjamin and Anita Pruitt. You may contact any member of the team for pastoral support.

The need for volunteers is ongoing as we no longer employ a sexton. Your service in cleaning is always appreciated especially in the kitchen and bathroom areas. Many thanks to all who consistently help out in all areas.
