When the beam holding up your deck is so rotten it doesn't reach from one side to the other, it's time for a new deck. So here it is. We extended out an extra 4ft. using Pylex screw in footings, and decked it with 2x6's for a little extra strength.

This little kitchen turned out to be a bit more of a struggle than we first anticipated. The countertop was a week later than it was suppose to be thanks to Home Depots wonderful delivery service. We started doing as much as we could with what we had and in the end we think it really turned out well. We removed a cabinet to fit in an extra tall fridge, painted the Cabinets a modern white colour, installed approximately 450 subway tiles which we grouted in winter grey, removed and reinstalled the cabinet door pulls, and installed small 24 inch cabinet.
