Façade grants for Small Businesses

Some exciting news for small businesses - Denver Economic Development & Opportunity’s Neighborhood Equity & Stabilization division has launched a new grant program to help small businesses improve, enhance, or repair the appearance of their storefronts/exteriors. These grants are aimed at increasing visual appeal, helping revitalize neighborhood spaces, and preserving the historic nature of some of Denver’s older neighborhoods.

In this pilot phase, the program will provide grants up to $75,000 with a minimum of $25,000 for a single project. Interested businesses are encouraged to review the eligible activities and apply online. Applications are expected to close at year end.

The driving objective is to facilitate safe, well designed, privately maintained outdoor spaces that enhance the public realm for everyone. Through appropriate safety and mobility guidelines and a coordinated permit process, the Outdoor Places Program will offer greater flexibility for unique and enjoyable outdoor activities.
