The 8th Annual Homeless Winter Drive

Once a year we are blessed with the opportunity to serve community members facing homelessness. For the 3rd year in a row the Urban Community Outreach Center in Long Beach generously hosted us with their spacious venue. Our supporters, volunteers, and allies made it possible for us to distribute fresh hot meals, new blankets, scarves, gloves, snacks, socks, hygiene kits, and much more to over 170 of our homeless brothers and sisters. Special thank you to the students of the Institute of Knowledge and the Islamic Society of Orange County who continuously show their support year after year.

Food Pantry
Addressing Food Insecurity

Each month, in collaboration with the West Coast Islamic Center and with the support of our volunteers and donors, we continue in our efforts to uplift our brothers and sisters in the community who are facing food insecurity. This month we distributed boxes of food essentials to over 370 families in need.

I especially appreciate and thank Dr Ahmed Almukhtar for always being by our side during our difficulties with rent, food, basic needs and the focus with resources we need to move towards our goals. The car we have been gifted has helped us so very much. We are keeping all the donors in our duaas there are not enough duaa that can match the generosity the Uplift community has shown us.
