That is why we have the Haberman Institute for Jewish Studies. We hope you will continue to support our important work.
Initially created to serve the Greater Washington, DC community, the Haberman Institute has grown to reach audiences throughout North America and beyond, through free, virtual learning sessions in addition to in-person programs in the local community. In 2024, we received more than 9000 registrations for programs ranging in topics from Jewish-Christian Interactions in the Talmud to The Jewish World of Maurice Sendak’s Artistry… Jewish Ritual Innovation After October 7 to Jewish Life in Antebellum Charleston.
Throughout our history, Jewish learning helps put us on the path to the connection, solidarity, and grounding we yearn for a spiritual, emotional, and intellectual lift.
We have so many more adult education opportunities to provide. But we cannot continue our work without your support.
Please continue to help us offer essential and accessible adult Jewish education so we can all keep learning and growing together.
