The Weekly Update
Sunday Services @ 9am & 10:45am
Here's the "411" on this Sunday and upcoming events...
December 9
"Waiting"

We think of waiting as something that is passive. It means pausing until something else happens. There is another version of waiting, though. This one is active. It is watchful and attends to the needs of the moment. It puts its own agenda on “hold” in order to meet those needs. In the end, attending to the needs of the moment becomes their agenda.

THIS SUNDAY...
People bring questions. Russ does his best to answer them.
(If they are really tough, he refers them to Jordan!)
Some of the questions Russ will address this Sunday include:
  • If Christmas isn’t a holiday in the Bible, why do we celebrate it?
  • How literally should we take the birth stories of Jesus?
  • How is our budget?
  • What are we doing with the “Dime-a-Dollar” Growth Funds?
