Dear Neighbor,

Miami Beach has a new way for you to stay on top of topics that interest you!

Please give MB Resident Connect a try, and be alerted based on your keywords whenever there is a Commission Agenda item for that topic!

MB Resident Connect

You don't have time to review all the lengthy agendas, so why can't you set up keywords like "North Beach" or "Tennis" or "Homeless" and be notified when that topic is on a Commission Agenda?

Now you can!  The new MB Resident Alert System e-mails you alerts BEFORE the things you care about are discussed and decided.

For now, the implementation is limited to Miami Beach City Commission meetings, but soon will be extended to additional city boards.

Miami Beach Master Plan Bookshelf

A second feature I recently had added to the City of Miami Beach website is a centralized electronic City Master Plan "bookshelf."  I requested this to make it easy for you to fins the strategic plans that have been created for Miami Beach.   Access the Mast Plan bookshelf here:

Demolitions Webpage

Lastly, in an effort to enhance transparency and to keep you informed, the City’s Building Department has a webpage dedicated to listing the active total demolitions permitted within our City limits.  The demolitions, including properties declared unsafe by the Miami Dade County Unsafe Structures Board, are presented in a file that is updated on a monthly basis.

It can be accessed here:
