White Rose Senior Center

Hello Lisa,

GIVING TUESDAY - DECEMBER 3, 2024

Giving Tuesday is an annual day of giving to many organizations.

White Rose Senior Center is participating and YOU can help by donating to our "Deck The Halls" Campaign. We will be turning the Center into a magical Gingerbread Man Display. Your money helps to support the great activities and recognition that we have planned for our older adults and volunteers during the holiday season and beyond!

We serve 150 Congregate and Grab-N-Go Meals a day along with 110 Home Delivered Meal clients in our area. We have an awesome crew of volunteers who deliver the meals to the home bound clients and we love to make them feel extra special during the holiday season too!

It's not too late to make a donation even after December 3rd!

WHITE ROSE SENIOR CENTER IS LOOKING FOR HOME DELIVERED MEAL DRIVERS

Are you looking for a rewarding volunteer job? White Rose Senior Center is looking for YOU!

Home Delivered Meals are delivered currently one time a week to homebound older adults that the York County Area Agency on Aging have assessed and deemed appropriate.

White Rose Senior Center has 10 routes that vary with a few clients to upwards of 28 clients. The route may take 1- 1 1/2 hours and the meals are ready for delivery about 10:00 on Mondays.

You need to have a car, a valid driver's license, and enjoy older adults. You may be the only person that the client may see all day. Our drivers LOVE this volunteer opportunity and have made great friends with those that they serve.

If you are interested, please contact Lisa Krout at White Rose Senior Center (717-843-9704) for additional information. She can set up a "ride along" with an experienced driver to see if you may like helping an older adult in our community!
