Greetings!

Many of you are familiar with our history of Navitol and why it has played an important part in our clinic and our personal lives. Since we started using Pine Bark Extract in our office, there has been a tremendous amount of research done showing hundreds of benefits. It is truly a whole body supplement that can benefit almost every condition.

What is Navitol and How Can it Save Your Heart?
PLUS THE 5 BEST THINGS YOU CAN DO RIGHT NOW FOR YOUR HEART

heart woman One question that we get asked frequently is "What is Navitol?" Navitol is a proprietary formula built around a very specific Pine Bark Extract. Our Pine Bark Extract is a complex mixture of plant phenolic compounds including different flavonoids, naturally occurring phenolic acids such as Oligomeric Proanthocyanidins (OPC's), monomeric catechins, Quercitin, Digydroquercitin, Micetin, Stilbenes and hydroxylstilbenes. If you are like most people, then you skimmed over the chemical breakdown of Pine Bark Extract. All you need to know is that our Pine Bark Extract is made up of a whole bunch of compounds that are vital to your health. Our Pine Bark Extract is extracted using a patented pure water process that guarantees its purity.

When it comes to your heart, there is not a better supplement than our Navitol Heart and Brain Formula. The Pine Bark Extract used in Navitol has been shown to increase blood flow by significantly improving endothelial function. It decreases inflammation and plasma viscosity. It can significantly reduce systolic blood pressure. It decreases fibrinogen levels, which are a major risk factor of cardiovascular disease. By lowering fibrinogen levels you can decrease the risk of blood clots, DVT, strokes and heart attacks.

As I've mentioned in earlier newsletters, Navitol is very good at helping your body produce more nitric oxide (NO). NO is the most important vasodilator in your body. If you are diabetic, then a decrease in NO is why you have so many leg issues such as pain, ulcers, numbness and balance issues.

And as promised, here are 5 easy things that you can do for your heart right now. In my opinion, they are the most important things as well.

1.  Drink More Water. Research has shown that not drinking enough water can be just as harmful to your heart as smoking. You may not smoke, but if you don't drink enough water, you are doing the same damage to your heart.

2.    Take a Good Antioxidant. We believe that oxidative damage is the main cause of heart disease. This is where Navitol comes in.

3.    Restrict Carbohydrate Consumption. This is a biggie. The more carbs you eat, the more likely you are to get heart disease. Try and consume no more than 30% of your daily calories in the form of carbohydrates.

4.    Do Resistance Exercises and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). These are a one two punch against heart disease and the best way to change body composition.

5.    Get More Sleep. Research has shown that a lack of sleep can be detrimental to your heart.
