What's Happening at ISD Oneonta?
- Tonight, Thursday October 21, 5:30pm-7pm is the first of a two-part class Chakras: the Spiritual Growth Highway with our Director of Healing, JoAnn Wormuth. This class is required for our Healing Certification program but open to EVERYONE. Full details below under Adult Education.

- Also tonight, Thursday October 21st, 7pm-8pm is our monthly Magdalene Meditation Circle with Dale Capristo. This month the quality being contemplated is 'Courage'. Details below in our Adult Education section under Online Development Circles.
- This Friday, October 22nd will be the last Midday at the Oasis for the winter. Please let Tom know in advance if you will be attending by emailing him, tflandon51@gmail.com. If you need directions, he will send them!
- The membership committee will be brainstorming some other ideas for fun gatherings over the winter. We want to hear your ideas for get togethers
- This Sunday, October 24th is the second class in Self Care for Lightworkers with Kimberly Winsor. This three-part class is presented in person at ISD headquarters. Full details below under Adult Education.

Self-care for Lightworkers
A required class for the ISD Oneonta Healing Certification Program, but open to everyone
Self-care for Lightworkers is an in-person 3 part series that will give students exposure to valuable resources and practices to be able to do just that....self-care. Kimberly Winsor, LMT, RPP teaches body and energy centered approaches to creating and maintaining clear, positive energy in yourself and your work environment, whether you are an energy healer, providing healing sessions for friends & family, or accessing your intuition for to provide intuitively received messages. Classes taught in person at ISD Oneonta headquarters.

Chakras form our energy anatomy. When clear of blockages, they keep us healthy and balanced. In this two-part class JoAnn Wormuth, Master Energy Healer, leads us to discover the meaning and purpose of each chakra. We will learn to address & clear any impurities in our own energy system. There will be energy exercises & as well as self-discovery and healing meditations

ASTROLOGY FORCAST (Oct 20 - 27)
This week begins with the Full Moon in Libra. It peaks Wednesday morning Oct 20th. It is likely to be a challenging one, but there are points to keep in mind while dealing with the issues your soul will wish you to address.
The planetary transits form a Grand Cardinal Square on this day. The Square consists of planets in the Cardinal signs, Aries, Capricorn, and Libra. The Cardinal signs are action oriented and squares present obstacles.
In this star alignment the Moon is in Aries, Pluto in Capricorn, and the Sun, Mars and Mercury are in Libra. There are also additional squares involving Uranus/Saturn, Neptune/Venus, and Mars/Pluto.
The alignments will ask us to take stock of our lives once again. We are WELL PRACTICED at this by now, so take your courage in hand and give it your best effort. The emphasis is on the self. You can best be of service to all by taking steps to improve some aspect of yourself.
You will have an assist by the stellium (three or more planets in one sign) of planets in Libra. Remember that Libra is oriented toward, balance, fairness, and justice. Use this energy as you go within to your heart center, God cell, cave of creation located on your sternum.
This multiple square star chart is giving us a golden opportunity to leave behind what no longer serves, and if well traversed, an opportunity to move forward toward our ascension.
This is another idea that you may wish to use for your benefit. It is an incredibly powerful tool available to assist you. I cannot help believing that the advice came at just the right time for us. We have vast resources at our disposal. The transmission came during Monday night's circle. It was a guided meditation by Amanda Hoover through the stars. My attention was drawn to the space/antimatter between the stars and I received the following transmission as another loving reminder of who we really are:
"The all of antimatter. The great unmanifest."
"Think of your body as the Universe. The space between your molecules as vast as, and no different than, the space from one star system to another. You are on a trek across your own being - within your own body and also across galaxies, with no difference between the two. You are the creator, producer, and director of your own universal hologram. You are taking it to the edges of creation with an individual physical body and personality.
The space of antimatter is the macro. The micro is your unexpressed DNA. It is waiting to be expressed. So tap in, activate, and create from your own embodied Akashic records, your own 'Library of Alexandria'.
We watch, we learn, we cheer you on and rejoice in your visits. We urge you to think of space as the great unmanifest, containing ALL potential, rather than nothing. You need only look up at the sky. Allow and Receive."

- An inspiring story about listening to our Divine guidance. A child lost in the woods for three days in Texas was found by a man following instructions from ‘the voice of God’. This NY Post article tells the story of Tim Halfin who received guidance to go search for missing three-year-old Christopher Ramirez. The boy was treated for dehydration and some small scratches, but is otherwise healthy.
- A diver off the coast of Israel has found a 900-year-old sword believed to have belonged to a knight during the crusades. This UPI article tells the story of the amazing find and also contains a video showing the barnacle-encrusted sword

Just a reminder that we are continuing our Prayer Warriors group, every day at 5pm we pause to pray and send our healing energies where they are most needed right now
Each day at 5 PM EST, we will pause for about 10 minutes and meditate and pray with the intention of sending healing energy to all.
You do not have to be present each day. Requests for healing or suggestions should be submitted to our Healing Program director, Jo Ann Wormuth at the below ISD website link:

What is the Institute for Spiritual Development?
It's both a metaphysical church and an educational center originally founded 40 yrs ago in Sparta, NJ. With the belief that all paths lead us Home, ISD is dedicated to helping each spirit walk their path with courage and joy.
We stand for each individual’s right to seek their own personal Truth, as they respect the same right for others. We honor the sacred texts of all traditions of the Light.
The Oneonta NY chapter of ISD was Lovingly created by Rev. Diana Friedell & her sister Rev. Sue Landon. We are now led by a powerful leadership team, and executive board.
ISD is a spiritual community that focuses on healing and intuitive connection, and the joy of finding the spirit connection within rather than being told how it should or could be experienced.
We welcome those who want to belong to a spiritual group of like-minded people, in which you can explore and find your own path in a community of love and support.
There are classes, services, events, and a sense of community and fellowship. Energy healing and intuitive messages are delivered as a regular part of the worship service. Classes offer many tools which will help you on your life path, and the community we are creating together is one of openness and acceptance, and the ability to adapt with change and growth.
