Tannat (2017) Released
Our last vintage release for Tannat was 2012. Cold weather conditions in 2013 & 2014 damaged tender young buds and killed some of our vines as well. As a result, we weren't able to reap a harvest again until 2017. Naturally, we are excited for this long awaited release! We barrel aged it for 2 1/2 years and bottled in May 2020. Rich, with steady oak and leather notes. We recommend letting it breathe before serving to allow the dry black cherry flavor to develop. Cheers!

Our Butterfly Gardens
are at Peak
The flowers are beautiful! Although the butterfly population is greatly reduced from last year and they were late in arriving, they are here. We are seeing a greater number of Monarchs every day. This year, we have a higher number of Hummingbirds and Bumblebee Moths (AKA...Flying Lobsters). Also, quite a few micro-sized butterflies...some of the tiniest we have seen. Life is still full of pleasures.
Self-Guided Wine Tastings
We offer two self-guided wine tasting flights at our Tasting House. Each bottle in the flight contains about 1 oz. of wine. One fight includes five red wines & one port-style. The other flight includes two white, two rose and two fruit wines. Flight notes and directions are included. You can do your tasting outdoors or inside at a table. We provide cups to pour your tasting samples into and drink from. $10/flight (+tax).
