Saint Vincent de Paul Video and Newsletter
As we continue to highlight Saint Vincent de Paul this month, please enjoy this video about the history and works of the SVDP Organization. Featuring parishioner, Ned Delmore.
Thank you for your continued support of our neighbors!

As this wretched pandemic drags on, they need your help more than ever. Federal funds for rent relief are moving much more slowly than hoped. We are spending time learning with other King County Vincentians how to help our neighbors navigate the application process, and we hope the relief will arrive soon.

In the meantime, requests for help continue. In August, we helped more
than 20 families comprising almost 80 people. One young single mother is struggling to care for a severely autistic daughter while she is behind in
rent. Another who is formerly homeless needs her car to make it to work,
but cannot meet both her rent and car tax bills. Your support makes it
possible for us to help these neighbors and many others in these uncertain times. Thank you!

Donations to the food pantry are always welcome! Please place in the bin marked for St. Vincent de Paul in Jubilee Hall. We need toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning solutions, Clorox wipes, canned fruit, beans and meaty soups, laundry soap, and bar soap.

As ever, we covet your prayers as we seek to be Christ’s hands and feet for our neighbors.

We Celebrate You, OLL!
Please join us in congratulating OLL 2021 graduate, Lily LaPorte. She placed first overall in an inter-squad race for Bishop Blanchet HS Girls Cross Country. With a time of 15:02 for the 2.64 mile course she set a new school record. Congrats Lily!
Special Collection This Weekend
The Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) serves the more than 40 million people in the United States who live in poverty today. 25% of the funds collected will remain in our diocese to fund local antipoverty projects. By supporting this collection, you are giving those on the margins a hand up, not a hand out.

  • LEARN about the realities of poverty in the United States and the importance of standing in solidarity with those on the margins
  • PRAY for those suffering in poverty and for the efforts being done to address it.
  • CONNECT with the work of CCHD by supporting the collection. The easiest way to make your contribution is to donate through the Archdiocese of Seattle website HERE.

Building a Racially Just Parish

Thank you to OLL Pax Christi and OLL Justice and Peace Committee for sponsoring the event.
