Celebrate this day that reminds people all over the country of the importance of kindness and doing good deeds for other people, no matter how small!
Write out a thank you note and pick up a sweet treat to give to someone you would like to show kindness to! This can be for faculty, staff, or students.

Scholarship Opportunities:

The SkillPointe Scholarship - SkillPointe scholarships support worthy individuals pursuing a trade or technical skill at a community college, trade school or other reputable institution. Applications are open on a rolling basis and multiple $1000 scholarship awards will be given each month to help off-set the cost of training for any American seeking a career in a skilled profession. News from the ACTion Center
Plan for this month's Transfer Tuesdays! Each month, representatives from 4-year colleges will be meeting with WVNCC students.

During the month of October, Wheeling University will be available to talk with WVNCC students about any questions regarding Wheeling University, transferability, graduation, careers, and more. 

WU staff will be available on Zoom and WVNCC's ACTion Center Director, Lisa Soly, will be visiting each campus to meet with students. You can stop by in person or attend over Zoom!
