In 1799 the Rosetta Stone was discovered, making possible the translation of previously indecipherable Egyptian hieroglyphics.

What is the “Rosetta Stone” for understanding all of God’s promises? In the West, we understand God’s promises through self-preservation and self-fulfillment, often without even realizing it.

The Bible says that without taking up Christ’s cross daily, it is impossible for us to correctly understand the promises of God.
How do we understand God’s promises through the cross? Click here to read our latest blog post on how our right understanding of the cross-carrying Christ shapes our understanding of His word and His promises.

Burkina Faso: Children of Christian Martyrs and Pastors Struggle to Enroll in School

Schools reopened October 1 in Burkina Faso after being closed due to the Coronavirus. But 440 children of evangelical Christian martyrs and pastors are struggling to enroll.

The children, displaced due to terrorist violence and persecution in the northern part of Burkina Faso in 2019 and 2020, lack funds for school fees, supplies, and transportation. This month Voice of the Martyrs Korea sent funds to cover the costs of approximately 100 of those children, but we hope to do more.

Sponsor a Christmas Care Pack and share the love of Christ with our littlest persecuted brothers and sisters!

In Algeria, it’s against the law to use a building for non-Muslim worship without getting permission from the government. Several churches have been forced to close and now Christians are meeting in homes, which is also illegal.

In the midst of these church closures, church leaders have asked us to give Algerian children Christmas Care packs filled with essential items – both physical and spiritual. Church leaders hope to distribute 3,000 packs and each pack contains a Bible and Christian literature.

Pray for Elder Li from the Early Rain Covenant Church in China. Elder Li was imprisoned and then on probation for almost two years before being released. Now he and his family are being harassed and watched by the government. He was recently forcibly taken to the police station and then released. Pray for Elder Li to continue to be a faithful shepherd to his congregation despite the continuing persecution from the government.

There are new places, new technology and new ways that we are always trying in order to get Bibles into NK. Most of these things are not able to be shared, but on a daily basis are being tested. Please pray for the engineers and VOMK staff members who are exploring these new things for the balloon project.
