Question
You've been traveling all over the world to show people non violent methods of working with horses, starting green horses, working with remedial, abused horses. What was the biggest challenge in your work?
Answer
I have traveled and done my work now in forty-three countries. There is no question that the biggest challenge are the people and not the horses. The doubters, naysayers and outright violent people slow down the process.
Sincerely,

PRODUCT REVIEW: MONTY'S DUALLY HALTER
My good friend assisted me in getting my horse in my trailer using the
Dually Halter
. Since I have been doing ground work with it I have noticed far better control of Clipper and our relationship has improved in a great way. No anger, frustration, just good times. I have started doing endurance rides and it is imperative that I can load my horse in a trailer when needed and it is also imperative that he walks and backs in a proper manner. Thanks Monty!

MONTY'S CHALLENGE
Test yourself each week as I challenge you to answer the question below. I mean this. Sit down and write an answer. Don't wait for my answer next week. If you have been reading my Weekly Questions and Answers for the last six months, you should be in a position to do this. Send your answer to my team at:
askmonty@montyroberts.com
Why should you bother? Because it will help you focus. There is probably a comparable question in your life that needs answering... or will be. If you can gain insight into how to go about answering a practical question that is loosely related to your problem, this exercise will help you answer your nagging question. Then read my answer. I want all of my students to learn to be better trainers than me.That's good for you and good for horses!
