There is much anticipation for this beginning. All the old ways of being behind us, the things that did not quite turn out the way we wanted, all the ‘should of’ moments and the ‘could have’ times released. We step into this new beginning with great eagerness and excitement, an open path before us. Our body tingles with the joy of hope, we feel giddy with the new. Then another sensation arises – that old familiar ting, the tension and stress holding our fear of opening, our fear of beginning. Often that dread wins out over the enthusiasm and we find ourselves never finishing what we began, not even ever really beginning, we let go before our process starts.
