"Sometimes, we can only find our true direction when we let the wind of change carry us." ~Mimi Novic
Last month, we explored the following questions about the very touchy topic of HEALTH:
What is health and wellness?
What does it mean to be healthy?
How do you envision your health?
What does wellness look like?
How does it feel to be well and healthy?
When do you feel at your healthiest?
Why do you want to be healthy?
Is the experience of wellness the same for everyone?
How can we get there?
How has your idea of these questions changed, even just in the last month? Which area(s) of health do you tend to focus on the most- physical, mental, emotional, social, spacial? Is there an area that you tend to neglect? What is one thing that you think you know to be true about health and wellness? Finally, is it possible, that what you think you know can be up for negotiation?
All of these questions do not need answers. They are here for your contemplation. If one of these questions strikes you, follow the rabbit hole of your own thoughts. Ask others their thoughts. Explore the world around you through books, music, nature, sciences and arts to see if you can find an expression of the answers in these places. Tuck the questions into the back of your mind and allow the answers to resurface as they will- like sowing seeds of wild flowers in the spring, we wait weeks to months to see the very beginning of growth push to the surface of the soil.
If you're feeling contemplative, I'd love to share a playlist that I created 4 year ago for a retreat in Thailand. To this day, the music stirs up magic in me and gives me inspiration.

I hope to see you online in a few weeks, but until then, I'll leave you with this:
"Hope" is the thing with feathers- Emily Dickinson
“Hope” is the thing with feathers -
That perches in the soul -
And sings the tune without the words -
And never stops - at all -
And sweetest - in the Gale - is heard -
And sore must be the storm -
That could abash the little Bird
That kept so many warm -
I’ve heard it in the chillest land -
And on the strangest Sea -
Yet - never - in Extremity,
It asked a crumb - of me.
Wellness is the journey, the destination, the challenge and the reward.
With warmth and in great health,
Justine
