CIP Finishes celebrates our first responders

As a construction firm focused on large multifamily communities, we know that our police, fire and emergency medical services professionals are vital to creating safe, healthy places to live. CIP Finishes was honored to participate as a sponsor at the

Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce’s 7th Annual First Responders Appreciation Breakfast last month at the Fredericksburg Convention Center. We are thankful to be able to participate in an event like this, that recognizes the important role our first responders play in building great communities.

Why we love calling Stafford County home

CIP Finishes has spent nearly four decades “sweating the small stuff” and focusing on the details that make apartment homes the attractive, comfortable places renters want to call “home.” The multifamily housing communities we work in play an important role in providing adequate home inventory in some of the largest housing markets in the Mid-Atlantic region. We coordinate all of this work from our headquarters in Stafford County, Va. While it’s not a large metro area, Stafford is part of the fastest-growing region in Virginia. CIP Finishes founder and president Paul Milde wrote recently about what makes Stafford such a great place to run a business.

Back to School — for us, too!

As college students across the U.S. returned to campuses last month, CIP Finishes installers were busy putting the final touches on Hub College Park, a 163-unit student housing community near the University of Maryland. Hub is developed by Core Spaces and is being built by general contractor Findorff. Check out the mirrors we installed in the workout room. We especially love the yogi Terrapin art on the walls!

Bathroom partitions require an expert touch

Bathroom partitions can make a huge impression on a potential tenant upon visiting a common-area restroom. Materials that stay clean, alignment that allows for easy locking and door function and installation that can withstand the wear and tear of life in a multifamily residential community are key elements of successful toilet compartments, part of the Division 10 specialties list.

Installer focus:

Glass Shower Doors

In today’s apartment home, the vinyl shower curtain has given way to the clean look of glass shower doors. Nothing makes a bathroom stand out to tenants like a good-looking glass shower door, and our installer Jonathan Venegas has developed special expertise in this area.
