What makes you proud?

Dear MCC,

It’s almost Pride month! As we prepare to dust off our rainbow décor and start our celebrations, I am curious, what are some of the things that make you proud? My question isn’t only about LGBTQ+ themes, but about all the things that make us feel proud.

Sometimes we have milestones, celebrations, and achievements in our lives, but our church family might not even know about them. During June, we will have the chance to share what in our lives makes us most proud. I invite you to think about the things that make you proud! What would you like your church community to know about you?

During the month of June, I will be inviting you to contribute to a Pride display. You can share stories, achievements, photos, drawings, and anything else that makes you proud! I will be giving instructions in church on Sundays in June! Stay tuned!
