With summer in full swing and vacations on the horizon, we know how much a thoughtful neighbour can mean. Is there someone on your street who always grabs your mail, waters your plants or keeps an eye on things while you are away?

That everyday kindness deserves a thank you.

Nominate them as a Kind Neighbour and we will surprise them with a fun thank-you package. Plus, they will be entered into a draw to win uptown dollars!

Potlucks and sunshine

The annual Cardinal Cresent neighbourhood potluck was a great success! There was delicious food, great company and lots of fun for the kids.

A neighbour even shared a photo from the 1984 potluck, reminding the neighbours of how strong their neighbourhood connection is.

Neighbours of all ages came together for a fun afternoon in Laurelwood. It was a great day to rekindle old friendships and start new ones while enjoying some delicious food.

Transgender swim on Saturdays

The City is offering a dedicated swim time every Saturday in the summer for transgender individuals and their friends/family.
