Saluting Those Who’ve Served

Have you seen the football field-sized flag unfurled at Indianapolis Colts home games? At the Colts vs. Bucs game, those 400+ volunteers “waving” the flag were from the Heritage family. To honor those who have served in the military, The Heritage Group partnered with the Colts to provide this fun and meaningful experience for our Heritage veterans. Meet some of these special people in this video and blog post from the pre-game activities.

Learn more about this tribute and other ways The Heritage Group supports our military veterans in our latest blog post.

A New Chapter for HES & THG

Earlier this week, we announced that EQT will assume a majority position in Heritage Environmental Services. This move, made at a unique time in the market, means growth opportunities ahead and an exciting path forward for HES.

THG will maintain a minority stake in the company, which means HES will remain part of the Heritage family and will continue to be an important part of our sustainability strategy. Congratulations to the HES teams who, through their hard work and dedication over the years, have built an organization that is recognized for its potential and poised for even greater success!

The transaction is expected to close sometime in Q1 of 2024. Watch for more information as we work together toward a smooth transition over the next year.

Your Pay Schedule Is Changing

We’re always working to improve your employee experience, including the way you get paid. At the beginning of 2024, we’re taking the important step of moving to a common bi-weekly payroll cycle. This change supports our technology upgrade that will allow you to access your pay and benefit information whenever you need it, even on your cell phone.

Paychecks will arrive every other week on Thursdays, 26 times per year. Set yourself up for a smooth hassle-free transition with budgeting resources and a planning checklist.
