2020 Winter Appeal

Thank you to all the contributors who responded to our appeal campaign with your generous gift. There is still time for you to make your donation to support our ministry.
You can mail your donation to the address above or make an online donation by clicking here.

Due to the pandemic many of our fund-raising opportunities have been canceled. We look forward to the time when, once again, our seniors will be able to participate in programs that are vitally important to them.  Programs that meet their holistic needs of mind, body and spirit help them maintain a quality of life. This is possible because of support from people like you.
Again, we thank you for remembering this growing group of elders that need our support through the ministry of Fox Valley Lutheran Homes.

Due to COVID-19 safety concerns, our tenant community was unable to gather in person for our annual Christmas celebration. Thanks to a Thrivent Action Team grant and a generous donation from Festival Foods, our tenants each received dinners delivered to their door!
Special thanks to Board Members Tommy Meltz and Pastor Leon Knitt for organizing this project and delivering each meal with a smile.

Thanks to another supporter who applied for a Thrivent Action Team grant to provide fresh fruit and vegetables for our tenants for several weeks during the Christmas Holidays. Strawberries, bananas, grapes, cucumbers, blackberries and more were delivered right to our tenants door.
Care Packages Filled with Love

Our community continues to remind us we are not alone as we isolate during COVID-19. Thank you to mother and daughter team, Jill and Kelcie who donated care packages to our tenants. They read about our tenants needs in the Volunteer Fox Cities Holiday wish list.
Food Donations to Our Tenants

We continue to receive food packages through the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program distributed by Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin throughout the month of December. We feel the love and support of our community as we shelter in place to remain virus free.
The First Load is ON US!
Laundry Renovation is Complete
Our laundry is now relocated to an area adjacent to Linwood Commons. This relocation allows tenants to wait in comfort in our community area, meet with Cheryl, our Care Coordinator or peruse the many newly donated books in our library. Many thanks to Mary Beth Nienhaus for the matching fund donation that made this project happen! Many tenants, their families and community members also supported this project with their contributions.

Our Board of Directors took up a collection and provided quarters and laundry pods for our tenants to get their first loads started!

The new automatic door openers have been installed and work great!! Our contractor Finding Time LLC from Sherwood did a fantastic job.
