Selective Cutting Of Buckthorn On Our Wooded Property
You will notice that we are doing a selective cutting in our woods. The purpose is to remove and clear the area of the invasive plant called buckthorn. At the same time, undesirable trees and windfalls will be removed. You may have already seen that both our neighbors to the south and west are completing the same project.
What will happen and when?
All woods will be selectively cut to remove the buckthorn to allow more desirable trees and plants an opportunity to grow. All trash and discarded items (accumulated in the woods from trespassers) has created a dangerous and unsafe environment.
This project will allow us to manage the woods for future landscaping possibilities. It will also allow us to be better stewards of our land, partner with our neighboring landowners and beautify our property.
Treeo's Landscaping will be mulching all invasive buckthorn and underbrush from the garden area to the property lines to the west and south. Larger, more desirable trees will remain.

After the cutting is complete, we will look at potential landscaping and plantings to create a border to the south.
How will this be funded?
A very generous grant has been given to us by our neighbor, Warehouse Specialists. This grant as well a discount from Treeo's will cover 100% of the clearing project. Thank you, Warehouse Specialists and Treeo's!
This will be a significant change in property. It may not look pretty this year, but with some additional landscaping and plantings, we look forward to having a beautiful and safe area for all the tenants, family and friends to enjoy for years to come.  If you have any questions regarding this project please contact Ron at 920-810-3222 or email at ronrobertson13@gmail or Lynn Ann at 920-734-7225 or email at lynnann.fvlhomes@gmail.com.
