I'm not sure about you but the buzzing of wasps this time of year always makes me a little nervous. There are lots of things buzzing around Quilters Cupboard these days but there's nothing to worry about. These buzzy noises are all good signs!

Holiday Buzz with Tami!

We've been busy this week trying to reign in all the holiday ideas that Tami has buzzing around her head for her Holiday Demonstration coming up next week! From kits to samples and pretty displays, Tami's our Queen Bee and we're helping her out as best we can!

RSVP Required: Space is limited for this event, and we kindly ask that you reserve your spot in advance. A $10 deposit will be required to secure your spot. On the day of the event, you will receive a $10 coupon to use in-store or online for a limited period of time.

Bee Prepared for the Home Town Sew Along!

Of course, by now you know that we have a "Bee in Our Bonnet" for Lori Holt and we're excited about the kickoff of the Home Town Sew Along on Monday, September 18th!

We have kits, shapes and of course plenty of Home Town fabric bundle options to help you build the foundation for this amazing quilt.

Delivery Trucks are Buzzing!

We've been keeping the delivery trucks busy this month with several shipments that have already arrived and more still to come (especially next week!)

Sugarberry - Back in Stock!

We were very excited when the delivery truck dropped off some Sugarberry fabrics that previously flew out the door in the spring. This means that we can redo some very popular kits and perhaps come up with a few more exciting ones as well.

First up is the Winter Blessings appliqué wall hanging kit featuring the pattern by Bunny Hill Designs. Do you have a special corner or a space above a buffet that could use a little wall hanging to add a touch of holiday charm? Winter Blessings is the perfect wall hanging and it's also wonderful as a table topper. Surround it with a few candles and your collection of sparkly deer. The appliqué is easy and perfect for beginners. A touch of embroidery is used for the deer antlers.

Finished Size: 29.5" x 29.5"

Kit Includes: Pattern and all fabric for the top of the wall hanging including the binding. Backing is NOT included.

Quilters Select - Restocked!

Quilters Select products continue to generate quite a buzz in the quilting world and these products were certainly popular over the summer. We've restocked some of our favourites, just in time for you to head back to your sewing room this fall.

Arriving Next Week!

We're not only going to be busy getting ready for Tami's demonstration next week but we're also expecting not one but THREE amazing shipments! That's a lot for one week!

With the nights getting colder, the flannel collections that will be arriving are timely. Lakeside Flannels by Primitive Gatherings and Cozy Up from Northcott have lots of potential for the fall season ahead. Are there any curlers out there? Cozy Up is one you'll want to sweep into the house!

We'll have more to say about these collections, as well as the long-awaited collection Favorite Things, next week.

Classes Are Back!

Our fall schedule of classes kicked off this week and the classroom was a buzz with activity.
