The January Buzz
Hello!
Welcome to January, my favorite month of the year! Not because it is my birthday month, which it is ;) but because it's a fresh start. Simply Bee's team spent the last few months reviewing our 2021 strengths and weaknesses and made clear goals for 2022. We have SO many new things coming this year that I will share with you very soon! But first, I want to tell you what we learned while developing the new initiatives for 2022:

🌟Bringing in a business advisor (aka asking for help) was a game changer

❤️Working as a team makes things a lot easier-especially when you talk about weaknesses

🌱Everything is an opportunity if you look at it hard enough

👌Goals are nothing without intention, positive energy and a clear vision

No matter what is happening in the world, 2022 can be a great year for your personal and professional growth. Remember, as Jacqui Widmark (our IP Integrator) always says, "if you squint hard enough, you can always see the opportunity."

Happy January!
Audrey

High School Athletes Mental Performance Clinic
Sports provide athletes with so many benefits, from physical activity, to friendship and connection, to purpose and inspiration. While coaches are tasked with keeping their players in tip-top physical shape, what's often missed is the mental training that makes a huge impact on not only athletic success but overall happiness. Many athletes are highly self-motivated, but this can often come at the expense of their mental and emotional health. This workshop series is designed to help athletes let go of over-controlling tendencies, boost their confidence, build resilience, find connection, and set healthy boundaries.

Join facilitator Audrey Grunst, LCSW for this unique 8-session workshop that incorporates evidence-based practices and her 5-step Growth & Resiliency Model©. Athletes will learn how to find optimal control, let go of controlling others, accept change, loosen up tension, rebound from failure, become confident, and keep healthy relationships with teammates and coaches—both on and off the court/field!

Workshop details:
  • When: 2nd & 4th Tuesdays | February-May
  • 2/8, 2/22, 3/8, 3/22, 4/12, 4/26, 5/10, 5/24
  • Time: 8:00-9:30 PM
  • Who: Athletes Grades 9-12
  • Athlete must be open and willing to participating
  • Where: Simply Bee, 977 Lakeview Pkwy, Ste 100

Additional information: The total cost for 8 sessions of this workshop series is $400. A $200 non-refundable deposit is required at purchase. After the first session, we will check in with you and your athlete to see if this clinic is a good fit. If it is and your athlete would like to continue, a second payment of $200 will be charged 30 days from the date of purchase. If it is not a good fit, you will not be charged for the second payment of $200.
