'Balancing It All': A Mental Performance Camp For Athletes
July 18-20th
|
|
Student athletes have a lot on their plates, from sports practices and games to academic responsibilities to their social lives. Balancing all of these demands can be a challenge and create stress and anxiety that has a negative effect on performance. Without time spent learning how to cope with these demands in a healthy way, athletes are more susceptible to lower levels of confidence and joy, along with increased experiences of high pressure, perfectionism, anger, and worry. That’s where this camp comes in!
Join us this July for a 3-day mental performance clinic for athletes of all sports. Facilitated by Audrey Grunst, LCSW & Eric Stevenson, LPC this clinic will provide athletes with skills and tools to focus on their mental health and increase confidence and self-esteem both on and off the court/field.
Through this camp, athletes will:
🎯 Learn effective time management skills
🎯 Gain strategies for settling nerves
🎯 Increase confidence and self-esteem (both on and off the field/court)
🎯 Develop boundaries to keep a balanced student-athlete identity
Workshop Details:
- When: July 18th-20th
- Ages 14-17: 10AM-12PM
- Ages 11-13: 1PM-3PM

2nd Annual Mental Health Action Day Walk Recap
|
|
This year's Mental Health Action Day Walk & Ice Cream social was a huge success thanks to our incredible community! With nearly 125 people in attendance and the beautiful weather, we were all able to enjoy a great evening taking action for mental health.
We went to give a heartfelt THANK YOU to all who donated, and to our sponsors. With your support we were able to raise and donate $2500 for the Lake County Veterans and Family Services Foundation. Whether you were taking action for yourself, a loved one or to advocate for systemic change, your efforts are appreciated.
