– “Hands only CPR / Save a Life” course will be offered the First Monday of every month from 6-7pm. This is FREE to the public! Park in the back of the LCC by The Hub. Sign up online or at the Front Desk. Max per class = 8. CPR can double or triple a cardiac arrest victim’s chance of survival. Learn how to perform compressions – only CPR and how to understand and recognize cardiac and stroke. Please not, participants will NOT be CPR certified by taking this class, however they will leave feeling confident assisting a victim if an emergency were to arise.

- LaCrosse Campus will host a seminar on “Managing Projects and Processess.” This course covers the skill development necessary to manage projects and processes. Projects come in all sizes and shapes. Managing the fundamentals are similar-clear communication (project scope), documenting the deliverables (goals and deadlines), managing people (status updates) and establish specific timelines (sequence of events) will be covered. Upon completion of this session participants will be able to - Apply universal project management techniques through a variety of hands on activities and Outline the steps that ensure successful project management.

invite the Pub;ic to the annual Holiday Movie This year’s film will be “One Planet.” The New Visionary documentary will be shown Tuesday, Dec. 3, beginning at 6 p.m. in The Hub at the Lunda Community Center. The LLC is located at 405 State Hwy 54, Black River Falls.
“One Planet” is the first film in the BBC nature series, “Our Planet.” Narrated by British naturalist David Attenborough, the documentary was filmed in 50 countries over four years. The film’s unsurpassed videography has close-up images of the planet’s inhabitants in their native habitats. The 50—minute documentary includes messages of how human activities impact the environment. The evening’s admission includes the movie showing, pizza and other refreshments.
